Dragonboats on the Rems (in Waiblingen)

Dragonboat racing has gotten increasingly popular all over the world. And last Saturday the rowing club in Waiblingen (where we live) organized a fun dragonboat race. The participating teams were mostly some office teams. It was fun to watch though it made me miss dragonboating in Taiwan.

Well Organized Company????

German companies are said to be well organized (as long as you believe in it). And now our company took our organisation to a whole new level - see the labels in the company's fridge:

Every coworker now has his own space in the fridge, marked by labels with your initials. What a great idea. Now I don't have to worry about such a difficult decision of where to put my lunch box or other food.

I don't know yet, what will happen when we get new coworkers - will i have to give up some of my valuable fridge space?

We are building some more shelves, and other furniture for our apartment. Safes money and it is actually fun to come up with ones own designs. Here the latest addition to the kitchen:
